BOU Atelier
BOU ATELIER is a brand shaped by the vision of architect and designer Şebnem Buhara, standing out as the intersection of timeless aesthetics and modern design. Offering original creations in furniture, lighting, and decorative accessories, the brand brings together architecture, industrial design, and art disciplines under the BOU DESIGN STUDIO umbrella. At Tasarlab, we carried out interface enhancements on BOU ATELIER’s existing Shopify-based website, strengthening the user experience while preserving the brand’s refined aesthetic identity. This work enhanced the site’s visual consistency and navigation flow, creating a simpler and more engaging product discovery experience for users.

BOU ATELIER already had a website built on the Shopify infrastructure. However, the brand aimed to provide visitors with a smoother browsing experience, allowing them to explore products more comfortably while better reflecting its sophisticated identity. Minor yet impactful improvements were needed in navigation structure, category hierarchy, and visual balance. Accordingly, the goal was to enhance both UX and UI aspects of the existing theme to align with the brand’s luxury positioning.
As the Tasarlab team, we implemented targeted improvements to BOU ATELIER’s existing Shopify theme while maintaining the brand’s sophisticated and artistic character. The navigation structure was simplified, the menu hierarchy was redefined, and subtle micro-interactions were added to make product exploration faster and more intuitive. On the interface side, typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy were refined to strengthen the site’s overall aesthetic harmony. Additionally, the mobile browsing experience was optimized to ensure that the brand’s luxurious essence was reflected consistently across all devices. As a result, BOU ATELIER brought its timeless aesthetic vision into the digital world through a smoother, more intuitive, and refined user experience.
